He presented som <br />background on this application. Thi <br />proposed second floor developed very <br />quickly in the last five or six week <br />He explained that the owner had rein <br />forced the structure in anticipation <br />that a second story would be added. <br />Commissioner McLain discussed possi- <br />bility of shadows that a second story <br />would throw on adjacent property. <br />Mr. Bras indicated some morning <br />shadow, exposure being from the west. <br />Several residents of Eull Court were <br />present. They were under the im- <br />pression the building was further <br />up north and were present to pro- <br />test the second story addition. <br />These neighbors were Edward Quigly, <br />and George Branish, of Eull Court. <br />These people were advised of the <br />exact building for which the request <br />is being made which is on the Valley <br />Avenue side, the building farthest <br />west. Discussion ensued regarding <br />adequate notification to surrounding <br />property owners and how, in this <br />particular case, a buffer (Agri- <br />cultural) strip of land effectively <br />eliminated notification past the <br />required 300 ft. policy of staff. <br />Mr. Ray Young, 2 Castlewood Drive <br />spoke opposing this PUD revision. <br />He felt that a revision of a recently <br />approved PUD, such as this one, <br />-15- <br />
