~"~,~""'°~ CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGtB : November 13, 1974
Time : 8:22 P.M.
PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
changes as they related to the pre-
vious submittal.
Regarding the 28-1/2 acres they
would like placed in professional
and administrative offices, he indi-
cated that they plan this to be
office park concept. The applicant
does not feel that this use of the
location will compete with the down-
town. They are not interested in
the doctors offices type of uses.
Basically, they have moved p rofes-
sional office and highway commercial
uses to front on Hopyard Road, elimi
nating the service commercial area
and providing industrial uses to the
back of property.
Mr. Karn concluded his remarks by
stating that for a long time nothing
could be done with the property
because of lack of flood control
facilities, but now the problem has
been resolved, and it is applicant's
hope that development can begin.
They feel confident that since not
all the sewer permits offered by
V.C.S.D. have been picked up, that
they will be given an opportunity
to acquire some of these. However,
they need clearance from the City
first on their development plans.
Mr. Karn indicated that both Messrs.
John di Manto and Sal diSalvo were
present in the audience to answer
questions,
The Public Hearing was closed.
Planning Director Harris had nothing
to add to Mr. Karn's comments.
-12-
