CITY of PLEASANTON <br />`~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : December 11, 1974 <br />Time : 8:18 P.M. <br />FIQCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />commending a route from the sub- <br />station north on Stanley Boulevard in <br />an easterly direction and then south <br />on what is labeled "E", which <br />junctures in the foothills. <br />Review of Human Services Element of <br />the General Plan. <br />Secretary Harris introduced Richard <br />Glenn, Planning Analyst, who spear- <br />headed the Human Services Element <br />Report, which will become a part of <br />the General Plan study. <br />Mr. Glenn explained the philosophy <br />behind the study undertaken by the <br />City and what the Human Services <br />Element represents. <br />He reviewed some of the research find• <br />ings of this enterprise. Mr. Glenn <br />then thanked the Community Concerns <br />Committee, especially, Chairman Dave <br />Shepherd, and Dick Pearson, present <br />that evening, whose recommendations <br />to the City Council are contained in <br />the staff report on this item. <br />Commissioner Doherty indicated that <br />he had spent considerable time re- <br />viewing this document . He commended <br />Ithe staff, particularly Mr. Glenn <br />land thanked the citizens committee. <br />;However, he had the same two reser- <br />~Ivations that staff had, which are <br />'noted in the staff report dated <br />~~,December 11, 1974. <br />Chairman Wood then commended Mr. Dave <br />Shepherd and all the members of the <br />Community Concerns Committee and the <br />staff for the work involved. <br />Secretary Harris asked that Commis- <br />sion recommend this document to the <br />City Council with the comments of the <br />Community Concerns Committee. <br />-9- <br />
