CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
D018 : January 8, 1975
Time : 8:2o P.M.
PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
MATTERS FOR
COMMISSION's
REVIEW*
people as possible.
Commissioner Garrigan recognized the
concerns expressed by Mr. Musso and
felt that they were valid. Some
discussion ensued on routing through
Livermore .
Commissioner Doherty asked Mr. Musso
what the precise objections were tha
the Council had - was it regarding
the trucks per se, additional traffi
nature of the cargo going through
Livermore, or a combination of it
all? Mr. Musso felt that the
Council's point was that there are
other alternates to location on
Vineyard Avenue, which would move
traffic to I-580.
Chairman Wood asked staff whether
the question of the route could be
voted upon requesting that a satis-
factory route be established. City
Attorney Scheidig replied perhaps
some wording could be added to that
effect.
A resolution was then entered by
Commissioner McLain, Seconded by
Commissioner Garrigan and unan-
imously carried, approving the con-
ditional use permit to operate the
refuse transfer station, with all
staff conditions and that the Com-
mission make the finding that the
proposed use would generate increased
traffic conditions.
-8-
