,.'"°'°~ CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Otte ; January 8, 1975
Time : 8:2o P.M.
PICICe; Pleasanton Justice Court
present method of using the dump
site would cease at the time the
transfer station is established.
Regarding the question on where the
water (used to hose down the pre-
mises)would be deposited, this would
be sloughed into a holding tank and
removed from the property. The
drainage of the natural surface water
would have to be provided to the
satisfaction of the City Engineer.
Regarding the concerns expressed by
Mr. Musso, he can offer the follow-
ing: a) Reemphasized that the truck
traffic would consist of three trucks
per day; b) the proponents are not
wedded to any particular route . The
route discussed is an alternative.
There is no reason to suggest that
the transfer truck is going to be
moving at an excessive rate of speed.
Mr. Hirst also pointed out that there
are now traffic signals at Vineyard
and First and at Ray Street, which
,should ease the situation.
'..Commissioner Butler asked how large
these trucks were to be. Mr. Hirst
indicated this was a tractor with
a single trailer, encompassing a
total length of about 30 ft. He
did not know how heavy it would be.
However, Mr. Wirth offered a figure
of about 76,000 lbs.
Secretary Harris informed the Com-
mission that a letter of protest
had been received from Mr. Rodney
Busk, owner/operator of the mobile
home park.
ommissioner Carrigan indicated to
taff that he did not notice in the
onditions for approval anything per-
aining to screening of the property.
-6-
