She further pointed <br />out that this was the position <br />shared by all those present in the <br />audience. <br />Jo Harding, 540 E. Angela. She also <br />requested larger lots. She told <br />the Commission that when Kaiser <br />Research established their facility, <br />with few exceptions, the staff <br />located in Danville, instead of <br />Pleasanton, since they preferred the <br />larger lots which are more prevalent <br />there. She favored seeing 1/2 acre <br />lots. She also cited innovative <br />use of solar heat by some developers <br />as a means of heating and this can <br />only be successfully accomplished <br />in the lower density developments. <br />Amanda Heath, East Angela Street. <br />She wished to retain the peace and <br />tranquil atmosphere in Pleasanton <br />and spoke for the lower density. <br />Caroline Heath, Mirador Drive. <br />Reiterated the position stated by <br />Mr.. Pridemore. Also talked about <br />traffic problems. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Butler noted that the <br />hillsite development ordinance is <br />a very pertinent point of consider- <br />ation in the rezoning of this pro- <br />perty. He felt that the people who <br />spoke in opposition of the R-1-6500 <br />District designation felt that the <br />lots would be developed in that <br />-6- <br />
