q~$~BA~~~y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~'o <br />o Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : February 13, 1975 <br />Time : g:oo P.M. <br />PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />explained the reasons why and that <br />this condition is a standard one <br />attached to all auto repair facili- <br />ties and service station approvals. <br />Further, Secretary Harris wished to <br />clarify that although the matter is <br />noted in the staff report, it should <br />be spelled out as a condition that <br />no wrecked vehicles awaiting repair, <br />be stored outside the specified area. <br />Commissioner Doherty wished to know <br />from the applicant what the maximum <br />number of vehicles that could be <br />housed in the building under repair <br />or waiting to be repaired at any <br />given time. Mr. Cupples stated that <br />there is 3,600 sq. ft. of space under <br />lease; all work is restricted within <br />the boundaries of the building. Also <br />there are seven parking spaces .for <br />the tenant between Building No. 6 <br />and the western property line of the <br />shopping center adjacent to Building <br />No. 6. <br />Commissioner Doherty further wondered <br />how the Commission could make certain <br />that all vehicles are parked within <br />this designated area other than the <br />posting of the conditions of approval <br />Mr. Cupples stated that they will see <br />to it that the center maintains a <br />high standard of appearance. Some <br />discussion ensued between Mr. Cupples <br />and Secretary Harris regarding the <br />comment on the seven parking spaces. <br />At Commissioner Butler's inquiry, it <br />was learned that there is a total of <br />15 spaces behind the building. <br />Further, Secretary Harris requested <br />that the Commission, if granting the <br />conditional use permit, as noted <br />-2- <br />
