q~~AS""~~y CITY of PLEASANTON
~~ ~~,.
~~~° Planning Commission
~.
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DCfB : March 20, 1975
Time ; 8:15 P.M.
PIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court
Commissioner Doherty wondered if
there might be other access roads
available to the City. Don Sooby
indicated that the only other alter-
native would be opening up Kolln
Street to Valley Avenue, which would
be undesirable.
There was further discussion regard-
ing the fee structure for dumping
at the site, location of the next
closest dump site, etc.
It was Commissioner Butler's feeling
that this location was more accepta-
ble than the original site requested
for Vineyard Avenue.
Commissioner McLain felt that any
proposed location for a dump site
would meet with some opposition;
that he had difficulty believing
that there are no other dump sites
between Pleasanton and Martinez, as
had been mentioned earlier in the
proceedings. He further indicated
that a reminder should be given to
people that this is a transfer
station, not a dump site. Caution
should be given regarding dumping
along Valley Avenue before reaching
the site.
There being no further discussion,
a resolution recommending approval
of this use permit subject to con-
ditions noted in Resolution No. 1335,
plus conditions number 3 & 4 of
Design Review, was entered and
adopted.
Commissioner Butler
City staff, in this
before improvements
requested that
interim period,
on Valley Avenue
-4-
