CITY of PLEASANTON <br />`` Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D018 : March 20, 1975 <br />Time ; 8:15 P.M. <br />PIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />are completed, do a careful study <br />of traffic conditions before and <br />after the use is established and tak <br />whatever measures needed to control <br />the situation. <br />Further recommendation was made by <br />Commissioner McLain that City should <br />investigate use of berms for noise <br />alleviation. Don Sooby indicated <br />that the flexibility is there for <br />about eight or nine homes along <br />Valley Avenue only. <br />Commissioner Butler indicated that <br />serious consideration should be <br />given to a future alignment of <br />Valley Avenue to Busch Road, in- <br />cluding the roadway in the vicinity <br />of the railroad tracks. <br />Commissioner McLain had questions <br />regarding the material provided by <br />the City Attorney on legal reasons <br />why tentative maps may be denied. <br />They were advised to contact the Ci <br />Attorney for clarification. <br />Secretary Harris provided the Com- <br />mission with a progress report on <br />Arrow Rentals. They are still nego- <br />tiating for funding at this time, <br />and the final word will not be known <br />for several weeks. The staff will <br />stay on top of this situation. <br />Commissioner McLain suggested that <br />because of previous opposition of <br />this business registered by merchant <br />in the C.B.D., that perhaps someone <br />from the City should give a progress <br />report of this situation at a Chambe <br />luncheon. Secretary Harris felt tha <br />the Chamber should make the overture <br />-5- <br />
