CITY of PLEASANTON <br />a~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DCtB : May 14 , 1975 <br />Time : 8:15 P.M. <br />PIQCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />UP-75-10, Contin- <br />ued to next meeting <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />UP-75-11, Approved <br />Res. 1343 <br />A resolution was then entered and <br />adopted denying this application as <br />petitioned. <br />Another resolution was then entered <br />and adopted recommending to the City <br />Council to place this property in <br />the S (S tudy ) District to give s taf f <br />opportunity to make a total review <br />of the parcel in order to determine <br />if a different land use classifica- <br />tion might provide a better use of <br />the property. <br />Vernon Dickman - application for a <br />conditional use permit to construct <br />a 21 pump self-service gas station <br />to be located on the northwest cor- <br />ner of First Street and Ray Street' <br />zoning for the property is C-S <br />(Commercial Service) District. <br />At applicant's request, this matter <br />was continued to the next meeting. <br />Lynnewood United Methodist Church - <br />application for a conditional use <br />permit to continue to operate a <br />72-student nursery school on the <br />church property at 4444 Black Avenue; <br />zoning for the property is P (Public <br />and Institutional) District. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Howard Acton, Pastor of Lynnewood <br />United Methodist Church, was present <br />He had no questions of the staff <br />report. <br />Secretary Harris gave the background <br />of this development, and that the I <br />applicant has complied with the con- <br />ditions for approval.
