Considerable discus- <br />sion followed. <br />Commissioner Garrigan expressed con- <br />cerns about the amount of general <br />plan amending the Commission has been <br />reviewing. Not too long ago, there <br />was a big study session; also, there <br />was a shopping center study made in <br />the last several years, which con- <br />sidered population versus amount of <br />neighborhood. centers. Discussion <br />also ensued on the rate of growth <br />in relation to need for additional <br />commercial facilities . <br />Commissioner Doherty also had some <br />of the same reservations as Com- <br />missioner Garrigan.
