4y~~-SANToy
CITY of PL~A~AI~T ~
.~:o Planning Commission
MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte : June 11, 1975
Time: s:oo P.M.
PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
access onto Vervias, but suggested
the use of berms and stop signs for
traffic control should access be
allowed.
Mr. Hirst replied that the building
would be constructed of slumpstone
and sliding down doors across each
bay, which would remain closed during
,sanding and painting to minimize
noise and residue. The air condi-
't~ioning and filter system is fully
approved by OSHA as an effective
means of filtration. Mr. Hirst said
further that they had no objections
to traffic control devices to effect
egress from the site. The business
(will be open from 8 to 5, five days
~a week and z a day Saturday, open for
,estimates only. .The vast majority of
vehicles to be repaired will be auto-
mobiles with a small percentage of
pick-up trucks , but there will be no
larger vehicles to be repaired. Mr.
Hirst again stressed that he was con-
vinced egress onto Vervais can be
done in away to provide traffic
circulation on the site and not
,burden adjacent land use.
Mr. Garibaldi again expressed concern
with the condition of the street.
As no one else wished to speak, the
Public Hearing was closed.
Chairman Wood asked if Council did
make a promise to remove the tele-
phone poles and repair street and
Secretary :Harris replied that it was
his belief that the previous devel-
oper intended to remove one of the
poles.
-8-
