4y$~5~~~°y CITY of PI~~ASANTUN
,~ .~,.
~~° Planning Commission
+w ^o
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Dote : August 27, 1975
Time : 7:47 P.M.
PIOCe: Civic Center
Some further discussion occurred
regarding possibility of a variance
being needed for the parking require
ments of the Code. This question
was raised by Mr. Hirst. Secretary
Harris explained the code require-
ment and why a parking variance was
not required. Secretary Harris also
noted, a conflict exists in the
Code pertaining to the C-C District
in which this station exists, and
the fact that one section of the
code states minimum lot size for
service stations must be 20,000
square feet, but another section
states that there is no minimum
lot size in the C-C zone.
Don Sooby requested that in the
event this application is granted,
that the one-way traffic pattern on
the site be established, .and that
Condition #9 as written which pro-
vides for ingress only from Main
Street and egress right onto St.
Marys only be established. Mr.
Greenberg said his client had no
objection to that.
Regarding Condition #8, wherein
applicant requested waiver of site
development plan and survey, City
Attorney Ken Scheidig stated he
would not object to a delay in
providing this, since no building
would take place near property .lines
The condition could be revised to
allow the submittal of the required
information within a reasonable
period of time.
The Commissioners had questions
regarding how the nonconforming
status of the station would be
-5-
