gV`~BA~~~y CITY of PL.~A~AN~'dN <br />~ •'/ , ~ ~ <br />'~~~• Planning Cofnrr~ls~ion <br />~M f4 <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Data : August 27 , 1975 <br />Time ; x:47 P.M. <br />PIGCe; Civic Center <br />greater number of pumps proposed, <br />would be intensified. <br />Upon inquiry from Commissioner <br />Doherty, Director of Engineering <br />Services Don Sooby, stated that the <br />traffic light for Main/St. Marys <br />is either No. 5 or No. 6 on the <br />priority list, which will mean about <br />a three-year waiting time. <br />T,he Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Aaron Greenberg, attorney repre- <br />senting Carl Graffenstatte indicated <br />.that basically, his client would <br />have no objection to the staff <br />~Irecommendations, and will go along <br />~iwith them, on the assumption that <br />the station can be opened. <br />Mr. Greenberg then proceeded to <br />give a rundown of the events as he <br />was aware of them. It was Mr. <br />Greenberg's legal opinion that <br />applicant can proceed. It was <br />Mr. Greenberg's advice to the appli- <br />cant that if the station can be <br />opened and get the work done to <br />accomplish this, it would be pre- <br />ferable to becoming involved in <br />lengthy court proceedings. There- <br />fore, at this time they would like <br />to participate in resolving the <br />problem rather than create one. <br />'Secretary Harris, for the record, <br />',stated that the Planning Department <br />(contrary to remarks made earlier <br />by Mr. Greenberg) did not put stop <br />work on the-gas station, but that <br />this was done by the Building Depart- <br />ment. <br />-2- <br />..._.... ._. ,._.... .... _. .._T. _,,.. ~. <br />
