They wished additional time <br />to make a feasibility study of <br />,whether they should construct a 50 <br />~'~meter pool as opposed to a 25 meter <br />(pool. Also, he would like to build <br />'~~10 outdoor courts. <br />There being no further testimony, the <br />Public Hearing was closed. <br />The City Attorney, in ans~:er to Com- <br />missioner Shepherd's inquiry as to <br />whether they could approve a modified <br />application, stated that certain <br />findings must be made. The staff <br />would recommend that if a swimming <br />pool and outside tennis courts are to <br />be added, drawings should be sub- <br />mitted indicating their locations, <br />prior to passing upon the Conditional <br />Use Permit. <br />Commissioner Doherty felt that Com- <br />mission should go ahead with what <br />has been submitted so far and when <br />final plans are forthcoming, resub- <br />mit an application for the balance. <br />A resolution recommending approval, <br />subject to the conditions in the <br />staff report, with Condition No. 2 <br />'modified to read - "total of 125 <br />(parking spaces, meeting all City <br />standards, and maintained on the <br />'land leased by the proponents, prior <br />to use of the property as a tennis =. <br />center," was entered and approved. <br />-4- <br />
