',.""'° CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte : October 8, 1975
Time : 8:40 P.M.
PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
The City Attorney directed the Com-
missioner's attention to the environ-
mental effects and mitigation measure
which exist and also requested them
to review the sample .resolution at-
tached as Exhibit "B".
It was Commissioner Garrigan's opinion
that the EIR had been completed in
compliance with the adopted guideline
A resolution was offered by Commis-
sioner Shepherd, seconded by Chairman
Wood and unanimously carried, certi-
fying that the environmental impact
'report for Tentative Tract #3606, has~~
,been complied with, per Exhibit "B".
Discussion then commenced on the
tentative map portion of the review.
Commissioner Carrigan could see no
reason for the Commission to accept
the tentative map.
City Attorney Scheidig stated that
under State law, a hearing is held
and the applicant is allowed to pre-
sent his position. Mr. Scheidig
further stated that acceptance of
this map by the Planning Commission
would constitute further violation
of the Regional Water Quality Control
Board's mandate . Denial of the map
at this time does not preclude devel-
oper returning at some future date,
when sewer capacity becomes available
to refile. The City Attorney advised
that he did not believe that the re-
commended action would violate the
Court's order. Consequently, denial
is recommended at this time . To that
end, he directed their attention to
a sample resolution recommending
denial .
-9-
...........
._r__.__.._ __.
