GP-81-10, City of Pleasanton
Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the various elements
of the General Plan, where appropriate and necessary to allow for
modifications to the growth management system of the City (formerly
RAP, Residential Allocation Program). The Planning Commission may
make any recommendation relative to the above modifications. A
negative declaration of environmental impacts was also considered.
Mr. Harris presented the staff report and introduced Richard Glenn,
Assistant Planner, who would further explain the report and answer
any questions.
Commissioner Wilson said that he agrees with the entire staff report
and recommendation. He asked if they are changing the wording
regarding Policy No. 20. Mr. Glenn said the wording is not proposed
to be changed. Commissioner Wilson indicated that there are people
who have sewer permits and no RAP permits, there are others who
have sewer and RAP that have part of their off-site improvements but
who have not started construction and probably others that have
approval who haven't put in the off-sites. Mr. Glenn said the term
"acceptable progress" would adequately take care of this.
The public hearing was opened.
Commissioner Jamieson made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey,
that the negative declaration for case GP-81-10 as the proposed
general plan amendment would have no significant adverse effect on
the environment.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and
Chairperson Getty
Noes: None
Resolution No. 2126 was then entered and adopted recommending approval
of the negative declaration as mptioned for case GP-81-10.
A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner
Jamieson, that case GP-81-10 be recommended for approval as recom-
mended in the staff report.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and
Chairperson Getty
Noes: None
Resolution No._ 2127 was then entered and adopted recommending approval
of case GP-81-10 as recommended in the staff report of 1/13/82 to the
Commission.
-20-
