Commissioner Wilson said he would like the City to tell them how wide they would want Street "E" and they could work it from there. Commissioner Lindsey asked the location of the sidewalk for Street "E" - Mr. Harris said it would be on the south side. Commissioner Wilson then asked if the project has been pulled back 5 ft.-10 ft. from Vineyard Avenue. Mr. Schaumburg said it is more a case of Vineyard pulling back from the project inasmuch as the street will be narrowed down in this area. Commissioner Wilson said that he still doesn't understand what can be recommended with regard to the width of the street. Chairperson Getty said that the Commission can establish this so that the developer can adjust the project accordingly. Mr. Schaumburg said he would feel comfortable with two 14 ft. driving lanes with sidewalks on one side. Chairperson Getty said her notes indicated they talked about having the front of the project be compatible with the existing Hacienda Mobile Home park. She asked if Hacienda had sidewalks in their project. Commissioner Jamieson indicated that it might be shortsighted to narrow Vineyard Avenue. Mr. Harris stated that based on the current General Plan the size of Vineyard Avenue near the mobile home park could be reduced and would have no effect on the low and medium density residential planned for the area. Commissioner Wilson indicated this is not a typical mobile home park inasmuch as children and teenagers will be on the premises. He said he is concerned with the number of units, size of the streets so that they are safe. He said he would be satisfied with 38 ft. width on "E" Street. He said the problem is the entrance to the park from Vineyard Avenue easterly being 28 ft. He feels this is too narrow. Mr. Schaumburg agreed with this. "~ Mr. Schaumburg said Wilson asked if the responded there had the Vineyard Avenue Engineer be able to width, vehicle and the original proposal was for 32 ft. Commissioner City was satisfied with that. Mr. Schaumburg been some discussion about removing one lot from side. He said they would like to have the City have the discretion concerning the entrance pedestrian paths. Commissioner Jamieson said he would prefer to have it at least 32 ft. as originally planned plus a sidewalk for a total of 36 ft.
