Planning Coi«..~ssion <br />Minutes 2/10/82 <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lindsey that zoning for the subject property as described <br />in case RZ-82-2 be changed to R-1-20,000 (Single-family Residential) <br />District. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, <br />Wilson and Chairperson Getty <br />None <br />None <br />None <br />Resolution No. 2139 was then entered and adopted recommending <br />R-1-20,000 (Single-family Residential) zoning for the property <br />described in case RZ-82-2 as motioned. <br />UP-82-1, Robert Geremia & Ed Rethers <br />Application of Robert Geremia and Ed Rethers for a conditional use <br />permit to operate an automobile painting facility at 3830 Old Santa <br />Rita Road. Zoning for the property is C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report. <br />Commissioner Lindsey inquired as to the amount of acreage of the site. <br />Mr. Harris says there are a couple of acres and there appears to <br />be six separate units on the site as well as immediately to the south. <br />Commissioner Jamieson asked the number of units and distance from <br />the shop area. Mr. Harris said probably 50' or closer. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Ed Rethers, 3830 Randy Way, San Ramon (the applicant) stated he has <br />read the staff report. He indicated he has cleaned up the area and <br />planned to build a booth which would meet the Codes. Mr. Rethers, <br />responding to an inquiry of Chairperson Getty, stated before he <br />got there there were six junk cars in front a~:~? it took two days to <br />clean it up. Commissioner Lindsey asked Mr. Rethers if he was in <br />operation now. Mr. Rethers says he has been working out there for <br />about six months on his own cars.. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked to see the site plan for the area and asked <br />Mr. Rethers to explain the use of the property.
