A motion was then made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Wilson that the properties described in case PUD-82-5 be rezoned to Planned Unit Development as recommended in the staff report to the Commission dated March 31, 1982. ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairperson Getty NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 2161 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of case PUD-82-5 as motioned. GP-82-4, City of Pleasanton Application of the City of Pleasanton to review and amend where appropriate and necessary the existing population benchmarks and other General Plan growth rate policies as contained in the various elements of the General Plan. The Planning Commission may recommend any action on this matter felt to be in the public interests. This matter was continued to 4/28/82 as recommended by staff. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW Initiation of rezoning certain properties for conformance with the General Plan: 1. Deetz property located at the northern end of Pleasanton Avenue. 2. 27.5 acres south of Bernal Avenue extension between the SP and WP railroad racks. 3. 8.7 acres immediately west of the Valley Plaza shopping center. Mr. Harris presented the staff report stating that one of the things staff has yet to do is to bring properties which do not conform to the General Plan into conformity. A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Jamieson that a rezoning application be initiated for each of the above described properties.
