A motion was then made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wilson that the properties described in case PUD-82-5 <br />be rezoned to Planned Unit Development as recommended in the staff <br />report to the Commission dated March 31, 1982. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2161 was then entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of case PUD-82-5 as motioned. <br />GP-82-4, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to review and amend where <br />appropriate and necessary the existing population benchmarks and <br />other General Plan growth rate policies as contained in the various <br />elements of the General Plan. The Planning Commission may recommend <br />any action on this matter felt to be in the public interests. <br />This matter was continued to 4/28/82 as recommended by staff. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Initiation of rezoning certain properties for conformance with the <br />General Plan: <br />1. Deetz property located at the northern end of <br />Pleasanton Avenue. <br />2. 27.5 acres south of Bernal Avenue extension between <br />the SP and WP railroad racks. <br />3. 8.7 acres immediately west of the Valley Plaza <br />shopping center. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report stating that one of the things <br />staff has yet to do is to bring properties which do not conform to <br />the General Plan into conformity. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Jamieson that a rezoning application be initiated for each of the <br />above described properties. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2162 was then entered and adopted initiating a <br />rezoning application for the above described properties. <br />-18- <br />_.. __ _.__.__.._..... _........ ...__.... ._.,_... ~. _,,.~... _.. _ _.._.__... ..._..r.. <br />
