PLANNING COMMI V <br />LUTES Septembe. 1982 <br />Dolores Bengtson spoke Mating that they believe the tenants in <br />the apartment complex w'll be using City facilities. She said if <br />they don't they would b unique. She said there are adult sports <br />in which the tenants pr bably would participate as offered by the <br />City and children parti ipate in soccer, etc. and therefore, it <br />is hard to believe that the tenants will not use any City facilities. <br />Commissioner Wilson ask <br />Commission was aware of <br />gives the City Council <br />are met. Mrs. Bengtson <br />said she didn't know of any. Mr. Swift stated that Stoneson, <br />Tract 3150, provides to nis courts in their development. <br />Commissioner Wilson they asked if Stoneson received a credit and <br />Mr. Swift indicated he id not know -- it was before his time. <br />Commissioner Wilson sai that if each facility like this one had <br />maintenance by the home wners association it would reduce the budget <br />of the Park and Recreation people. <br />Commissioner Getty said that we need rental units in Pleasanton and <br />the City should conside~ encouraging their development. <br />Commissioner Jamieson s id he is in favor of giving the applicant <br />a credit based on a pro ata of the recreation building. <br />Commissioner Wilson fel that the Planning Commission shouldn't <br />make a monetary recomme dation of credit to the City Council and <br />should stay out of the ollar amount entirely. <br />Commissioner Doherty he <br />Park and Recreation Com <br />with all the facts and <br />and Recreation Commissi <br />a first-class project a <br />it and spoke in favor o <br />Recreation Commission a <br />itated to go against the desires of the <br />fission.
