Commissioner Getty asked if trucks would be considered part of the <br />equipment. Mr. Harris responded that the Commission might want to <br />make that decision. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Les Mathews, 620 St. George, Danville, representing Z & M Investments, <br />addressed the Commission. <br />At this time, Commissioner Wilson stated he would abstain from <br />consideration of this matter in that this property is located within <br />300 feet of his office. <br />Mr. Mathews continued and reviewed other companies which were already <br />in the building. He stated that the building was not planned for all <br />warehouse and said that it would be both office and warehouse. Mr. <br />Mathews stated he had no problem with the conditions of the Staff Report <br />but would like to comment on condition No. 6 which requires screening <br />gas meters. He said the gas meters were on the side of the building <br />and that there were trees planted in the area which would eventually <br />help to shield the meters. He also stated the transformer had a <br />masonry wall around three sides with a gate in the front. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked Mr. Harris if he felt the landscaping around <br />the meters provided sufficient screening. Mr. Harris stated they are <br />very visible now, but possibly would not be after the shrubs were larger. <br />He added that he felt they could probably add a few more plants. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked Mr. Harris if this was something he. felt <br />could be worked out between staff and the applicant, and Mr. Harris <br />responded it could. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Getty, making findings A, B, and C as noted in the Staff Report, and <br />that Case UP-82-18 be approved subject to the 6 conditions of <br />the Staff Report dated 12/8/82. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Getty, Jamieson, and Chairperson Lindsey <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Doherty <br />Abstain: Commissioner Wilson <br />Resolution No. 2247 was then entered and adopted approving Case <br />UP-82-18 as motioned. <br />GP-82-10, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the General Plan <br />designation of approximately 2.25 acres of land located immediately <br />west of the Vineyard Villa Mobile Home Park between Vineyard Avenue <br />and the Arroyo del Valle from Open Space (Parks and Recreation) to <br />Medium Density Residential and High Density Residential. <br />-4- <br />
