4y$~B~~T°y CITY of PL,EASANTdN <br />~~~. <br />~~° Planning Qornrnission <br />~ a9 <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />OGtB : February 4, 1976 <br />Time : $: oo P.M. <br />PIaCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />GENERAL PLAN <br />Recommended for <br />Approval, <br />Res. 1392 <br />Planning Commission review of the <br />revised General Plan of the City. <br />The items to be reviewed in detail <br />are the General Plan Supplement, <br />Environmental Element and the revis <br />General Plan Map. <br />The material before the Commission i <br />a review of the elements, additions <br />and revisions to the General Plan. <br />Hopefully, a decision will be made <br />on the entire General Plan itself. <br />At the time of the joint meeting be- <br />tween Council and Commission on <br />January 19, 1976, a thorough review <br />and explanation was made on all ele- <br />ments of the Plan, but for the benef <br />of the audience, Mr. Harris presente <br />a brief review. <br />The review included the dates on <br />which Commission and Council reviewe <br />and adopted the mandated elements of <br />the Plan, the supplement and the en- <br />vironmental element being the last <br />of the material to be reviewed. Mr. <br />Harris stated the .purpose of the <br />supplement and described its content <br />He did the same for the environments <br />element. <br />The revisions to the map itself were <br />then described. These include pre- <br />vious General Plan Amendments and <br />staff technical changes. <br />The last item on the map is probably <br />the most important and ties in with <br />the City's newly adopted policy on <br />growth rate of 2~ average per year. <br />Mr. Harris stressed the importance <br />of this feature, which is new to the <br />Plan. <br />Res.. <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />X <br />X <br />-5- <br />
