M.
PIOCe: Pleasanton Justice Court
Next, a Mr. Coburn, resident of
Valley Trails, commented that the
entire Valley Trails development
should have been notified of this
intended use.
MATTERS INITIATED
BY COMMISSION
MEMBERS
The Public Hearing was then closed.
Some discussion followed on whether
homeowners associations for the
various subdivisions were notified.
Staff does do this. The Commission-
ers stressed to the audience that it
is important that word of mouth
reporting of these types of happen-
ings should be encouraged as much as
possible.
Commissioner Carrigan felt that even
if the site were developed as single
family, it would still create a lot
of problems. He felt that, now,
the Commission has an application
before them and it should be acted
upon. If the Council wishes to make
some sort of adjustment on the mat-
ter, it would be up to them.
A resolution approving UP-76-1, sub-
'ject to the necessary findings and
'conditions attached thereto, was
,entered and adopted.
Chairman Wood told the residents
of Valley Trails in the audience
that if they wished to appeal this
decision, they had 15 days from the
date approval was given.
Commissioner Doherty made a commen-
dation presentation to the news
media, specifically to the reporter
who works at the Tri-Valley News,
Ray Tessler.
- 7-
