It is reasonably far <br />away from the existing homes. Be- <br />s~ides, if it went multiple, over 100 <br />units could be built on it. Because <br />of the City's sewer problems Morriso <br />cannot build on this parcel. <br />A resident of Valley Trails, Jim <br />Johnson spoke. He felt it incumbent <br />upon developers to post maps in <br />their sales offices of the uses <br />proposed around residential develop- <br />ments. In his case, he is not the <br />original owner, but he believes the <br />original map showed these properties <br />as park lands, or school site. Mr. <br />Johnson further commented that the <br />traffic lights immediately north of <br />the Youth Sports Park site need syn- <br />chronization, since even at 6:00 A.M. <br />he has to wait about three minutes <br />to cross that intersection. <br />He told the Commission that at the <br />time the mortuary application went <br />before both Commission and Council, <br />the residents in the area had made <br />it known their preference was for <br />single family development on this <br />property. <br />ext, a Mr. Te <br />alley Trails, <br />reference for <br />n this land. <br />~t opposed to <br />d Kroat, resident of <br />spoke.
