CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D018 ; March 10, 1976 <br />Time : 8:00 P.M. <br />Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Place; <br />Residents then spoke. <br />Mr. Jim Jordan, 7218 Stonedale Drive, <br />objected to the location of the yard <br />and requested that it be removed <br />immediately. He indicated that <br />Stoneson had told him and neighbors <br />that this area would be grass. <br />Next, Mrs. Barbara Frye, 7269 Stone- <br />dale Drive, presented a chronology <br />of events of her personal experience <br />with staff in attempting to clarify <br />this matter. Later, she and Mrs. <br />Jordan did visit the City offices <br />and reviewed all available maps <br />pertaining to this matter, reviewed <br />the improvement plans signed by the <br />Director of Public Works, and were <br />referred to the City Attorney's <br />office. <br />A meeting was then held between the <br />homeowners in the townhouse and <br />single family developments. Accord- <br />ing to Mrs. Frye, although the home- <br />owners are aware of a letter from the <br />Planning Department to Stoneson <br />requesting that they cease work on <br />the yard, work has continued sur- <br />reptitiously. <br />Mr. Dennis Blocking, 7292 Stonedale <br />Drive, spoke next. He stated that <br />he would not have bought his house <br />at that location had he known about <br />the storage yard. He was also told <br />that the area would be planted in <br />grass. He asked of staff and re- <br />ceived an affirmative answer that <br />electrical and plumbing work re- <br />quired permits. <br />Next, a Mr. George Stack of 7571 <br />Homewood (resident of the townhouse <br />development) commented rebutting <br />-10- <br />
