4V$~-BANTOy CITY of PI..EASANTC~N
~~ ~~~.
`~*° Planning commission
....o
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR METING.
DGte : April 14, 1976
Time : 8:53 P.M.
PIOC@; Pleasanton Council Chambers
Item GP-76-2, Planning Commission -
application for general plan amend-
ment to add two streets to the
adopted circulation system in the
area bounded by Highway I-5 80 ,
Hopyard Road, Tassajara Road, and
the extension of West Las Positas
Boulevard between Hopyard Road
and Santa Rita Road.
Approved,
Res. 1408
Pending a decision before Council
o,n April 26, of the negative de-
claration prepared for this case,
this item was continued.
Review of recreational vehicle
,storage yard in Tract 3150 (Stone-
ridge Townhouses).
Resolution
Seconded:
Ayes:
Noes
Absent:
Abstain:
X
Chairman Wood gave a brief explana-
tion of what transpired at the
March 18 meeting, wherein one member
from each interested group attended.
It was the Chairman's position that
he had to go along with retaining
the yard in its present location,
as it appeared to be the best way
in which to resolve the problem.
Considerable discussion ensued
regarding what type of facilities
to retain at the yard, and what
could be removed, setback lines for
the fencing, landscaping, etc.
The Commissioners conceded that all
added landscaping to screen the
yard as much as possible would raise
the maintenance costs to the town-
house residents, and this concerned
them.
Mr. Harris stated that the townhouse
residents have gone on record as
wanting to retain the R.V. yard,
with at least 26 spaces.
-9-
X
