4y~~$"N~°y CITY of PLEASANTnN
~~ ~~,.
`~ ~~° Planning Commission
•rrao t
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
OG1B : April 14, 1976
Time : 8:53 P.M.
PIGCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers
A motion was entered accepting the
yard in its present location with
every effort made to blend it into
the existing residential area.
After some discussion, however, this
motion was withdrawn.
A contingent of homeowners from the
single family sector, along with
Rich St. John from the townhouse
homes, were present.
Mks. Teri Jordan, the main spokes-
person for the single family group,
felt the lot as being proposed,
would not be acceptable even from
the townhouse residents' standpoint
because of the shortness of some of
the spaces and poor maneuverability
within the lot itself.
Mr. Sam Portillo, single family
homeowner, also felt the lot was
unacceptable for use because of
design dificiencies.
Mr. Harris, felt that to be effec-
tive, whatever action the Commission
takes should be in the form of a
resolution and with more definitive
recommendations.
A resolution was then entered and
adopted allowing the yard to remain
in its present location, but with
the developer providing the follow-
ing: the driveway be moved to the
north end of the yard, the hose bib
be removed, wash rack removed,
leaving only the drain, provide a
10' setback from sidewalk and
landscape said setback with fast
growing trees, shrubs, provide set-
back with irrigation system, provide
solid 6' high wooden fence built to
City specifications along inside
-10-
