4~~~SA~~°~ CITY of PI.~A~ANTC~IU <br />~~~ Commission <br />~wrso Planning <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date April 14, 1976 <br />Time : 8:53 P.M. <br />PIGCe: Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />A resolution approving-the two-year <br />extension requested by Citizens <br />Savings and Loan, subject to staff <br />conditions,. was entered and adopted. <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />UP- -8, Approved, <br />Res. 1407 <br />Tele-Vue Systems, Inc. - application <br />for a conditional use permit to <br />allow the construction and operation <br />of a microwave receiver facility at <br />the southwest corner of the City <br />of Pleasanton corporation yard at <br />5335 Sunol Boulevard; zoning for <br />the property is Public and Insti- <br />tutional District. <br />Staff recommendation was for approval <br />The Public Hearing was opened. Mr. <br />Bill Lillie of Tele-Vue was present <br />to answer questions. <br />Chairman Wood wondered if there <br />would be possibility of radiation <br />contamination. Mr. Lillie replied <br />this was not likely. Commissioner <br />Butler wished to know if this addi- <br />tion would ,affect the rate structure. <br />Mr. Lillie thought this was a valid <br />question and advised that a great <br />deal of information has already been <br />submitted to the City for Council's <br />review. Mr. Lillie then stated <br />that approximately 850 of the City's <br />population uses the cablevision. <br />This addition would afford these <br />users improved reception. <br />A resolution was then entered and <br />adopted approving this request sub- <br />ject to the findings and conditions <br />noted in the staff report. <br />tesolution <br />Seconded: <br />dye s <br />Toes <br />absent <br />abstain <br />XI <br />XI <br />-8- <br />
