Mr. Sooby replied that no <br />traffic complaints for the business <br />use of the L.I.D. parking lot had <br />been received by the City. <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />UP-76-7, Approved, <br />Res. 1406 <br />A resolution approving this condi- <br />tional~use permit with all staff <br />conditions was entered and adopted. <br />Chairman Wood advised the individual <br />who were against this application <br />that they could appeal this decision <br />to City Council within 15 days from <br />the meeting date and that one of <br />the reasons Commission is approving <br />this application is to retain some <br />of the existing structures within <br />the downtown. <br />Citizens Savings and Loan Associa- <br />tion - application for a conditional <br />use permit to allow the continuation <br />of an interim savings and loan office <br />at 300 Main Street for another two- <br />year period;. zoning for the property <br />is C-C (Central Commercial) District <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Charles Brewster was present to <br />speak for this application. He had <br />no questions regarding the staff <br />report. <br />Chairman Wood advised Mr. Brewster, <br />that while they could go along with <br />a two-year extension of their in- <br />terim building, with the Central <br />Business District growing, he would <br />expect to see a permanent structure <br />started within that two year period. <br />-7- <br />Resolution <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />X <br /> <br />
