'"""'°° CITY of PLEASANTUN <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D018 ; April 14, 1976 <br />Time : 8:53 P.M. <br />PIaCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />MATTERS FOR <br />INFORMATION OF <br />COMMISSION <br />edge of setback and along that por- <br />tion of southern property line not <br />now fenced and leave design of park- <br />ing spaces in R.V. yard to developer <br />and townhouse owners. <br />At the end of the hearing, Mr. Rich <br />St. John expressed dissatisfaction <br />with Commission's recommendations <br />since he felt inadequate considera- <br />tion to the desires of what the town- <br />house residents wanted had occurred. <br />Consideration of a request to amend <br />the ordinance to allow record stores <br />as a permitted use in the C-N Dis- <br />trict. <br />The Commissioners agreed with staff's <br />recommendation and instructed staff <br />to set a public hearing to amend the <br />ordinance. <br />Review of ordinance to allow flower <br />stands and other roadside stands in <br />the City. <br />In conjunction with staff's recom- <br />mendations that such businesses are <br />undesirable, the Commission voted to <br />deny Teresa Rough's request to sell <br />flowers from roadside stands. <br />Chairman Wood related to the other <br />members about his meeting with the <br />representatives of the post office <br />concerning removal of the barbed <br />wire fencing. It was agreed to by <br />the Post Office agency to take down <br />the barbed wire on the street sides <br />and where no building currently <br />exists, the wire would remain. How- <br />ever, they will entertain the thought <br />-11- <br />
