4y~~8~~~°~ CITY of PLEA~SANTQN <br />~ ~ '~i <br />`~ ~~~° Planning COI"Y"11'Y'iIS~IOn <br />.o <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : June 9, 1976 <br />Time : 8:2o P.M. <br />PIcCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT <br />UP-76-15, Approved <br />Resolution 1422 <br />Secretary Harris reviewed the staff <br />report and stated that there had <br />been two or three objections from <br />the neighbors, however, the Health <br />Department doesn't object as long as <br />there is only one chicken. <br />The Public Hearing was opened.. <br />Roger Cocksedge, addressed the Plan- <br />ning Commission and acknowledged <br />reading the-staff report. He cor- <br />rected two items 1) his age is now <br />11, 2) and the chicken was not <br />picked up by Animal Control, it was <br />hiding in the weeds. <br />He assured Chairman Wood that he does <br />not let the chicken get out and that <br />he keeps its quarters well maintained <br />Chairman Wood suggested that the <br />condition state the chicken should <br />be a hen and approval not be given <br />for a rooster. <br />As no one else wished to speak, the ~, <br />Public Hearing was closed. ', <br /> <br />A resolution was entered by Com- I <br />missioner Doherty, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Shepherd and carried that <br />UP-76-12 be approved subject to the <br />condition imposed in the staff <br />report to be modified to read "hen" <br />rather than "chicken," and the find- <br />ings A, B, and C be found valid. <br /> esolution: <br />Todd Oleson - application for a con- econded: <br />ditional use permit to allow fowl <br /> <br />to be kept at his residence located yes: <br />• <br />at 3721 Ashwood Drive.
