CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date : June 9, 1976 <br />Time ; 8:20 P.M. <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />UP-76-12, Approved <br />Resolution 1421 <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Terry Edwards, Chairman of the <br />Building Committee was present and <br />acknowledged reviewing and approving <br />the staff report. He further indi- <br />cated that .the present congregation <br />consists of approximately 100 fam- <br />ilies, but they would hope to grow <br />to around 250 at capacity. <br />Larry Osborn, Realtor, was present <br />and spoke in favor, stating that <br />2 acres would be optimum for this <br />use and the site is larger than <br />that. <br />A resident of Valley Trails, Mr. <br />Steve Dezelons, spoke in opposition <br />to the application, feeling that it <br />should be strictly residential, due <br />to traffic impact. <br />Mr. Edwards countered that the <br />traffic would be far less in one w <br />than a multiple use would generate <br />in one day. <br />Ralph Calbreses, Chief Warden at St. <br />Clare's spoke in favor of this <br />application. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />A resolution was entered by Com- <br />missioner Shepherd, seconded by <br />Chairman Wood, and carried to <br />approve UP-76-16, subject to the <br />conditions #1-18 and making the <br />findings A, B, and C, listed in the <br />staff report. <br />Roger Cocksedge - application for a <br />conditional use permit to keep a <br />chicken at his residence located <br />at 4702 Mohr Avenue.
