4~~~BA"~°~ CITY of PL~A~ANT~N <br />\ .~ • R • <br />#~~• Planning Commission <br />.o <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : June 9 , 1976 <br />Time : 8:20 P.M. <br />PIOCe: Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />Commissioner Doherty felt that the <br />location is no more or less injurious <br />to the public health, safety and wel- <br />fare, and if the applicant meets the <br />conditions he would favor granting <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />UP-76-16, Approved <br />Resolution 1420 <br />the use permit. <br />Commissioner Jamieson favored a con- <br />tinuance in fairness to Mr. Schwab <br />and the opponents and moved, seconde <br />by Chairman Wood, that this item be <br />continued to July 14. This motion <br />was not carried. <br />After further discussion, Commis- <br />sioner Butler entered a resolution, <br />seconded by Commissioner Doherty, <br />and carried that this application <br />be approved, subject to Conditions <br />1 through 13 and adding Conditions <br />#14 and #15 requested by the City <br />Attorney's office and the findings, <br />A, B, C, listed in the staff report. <br />Commissioner Doherty reiterated .that <br />the conditions will not be detri- <br />mental to the public health, safety <br />or welfare. <br />St. Clare's Episcopal Church - appli• <br />cation for a conditional use permit <br />to construct and operate a church <br />facility on a three acre site locates <br />on the northwest corner of Hopyard <br />Road and Valley Trails Drive (south) <br />Zoning for the property is RM-2500 <br />(Multiple Residential) District. <br />Secretary Harris reviewed the staff <br />report, stating that it may be 2 or <br />3 years before the applicant is <br />ready to construct, but they wanted <br />to be assured that the use will be <br />allowed on the site before pur- <br />chasing the land.
