He told of problems he had
been confronted with. He felt the
only solution to the problem was
improvement of Vervais Avenue.
Next, Leo Hackthorn, 4202 Stanley.
There is 70 feet between the body
shop and his home. He has observed
cars backing out onto Stanley Boule-
vard. He feels allowing access
through Vervais would possibly cor-
rect this, but he did not want to
add to the inconvenience of others.
Discussion then ensued regarding
possible granting of this request,
but attaching conditions which would
allow Pleasanton Body Shop to derive
the greatest benefit from having
access from Vervais Avenue, yet af-
fording those residents on the stree
the least amount of disturbance.
Deputy City Attorney Levine requeste
that this matter be continued to the
next meeting to allow his office to,
following guidelines established
by Commission, draw up an acceptable
list of conditions to achieve this.
Commissioner Jamieson wondered
whether this would be a workable
solution to the problem.
A resolution approving the request
of Pleasanton Body Shop for modifi-
cation to the approved design plans
and conditional use permit to allow
access from Vervais Avenue, was
entered and adopted. However, in
order to assure that all the proper
conditions and findings are attached,
the matter was to be brought back to
them at their next regular meeting
-7-
__ __....__.__v.~.__ _. ,. ._._ .... -- _...
