Mr. Auf der Maur was not <br />aware of this number, but he had a <br />meeting scheduled with Alameda County <br />for July 21, and perhaps would have <br />answers after that date. <br />A resolution approving this appli- <br />cation subject to the findings and <br />conditions shown in the staff report <br />was entered and adopted unanimously <br />by the Planning Commission. <br />Pleasanton Body Shop - application <br />for design modification and condi- <br />~tional use permit to allow egress <br />ifrom the property at 4262 Stanley <br />Boulevard to Vervais Avenue; zoning <br />for the property is C-S (Commercial <br />Service) District. <br />Secretary Harris explained the cir- <br />cumstances leading up to the request <br />for reconsideration to allow access <br />to/from Vervais Avenue. Originally, <br />this request had not been sanctioned <br />by staff who felt that a turn-around <br />within the property could be accom- <br />plished and felt that additional <br />inconvenience should not be exper- <br />ienced by the four families who <br />reside on Vervais Avenue. <br />Their situation is aggravated by a <br />car wash operation which existed <br />prior to the body shop. <br />The question to be resolved is what <br />can be done that will be in the best <br />interest of the public health and <br />welfare of all concerned. <br />As the situation exists, because of <br />inability of cars to turn around <br />within the facility, numerous occa- <br />sions have arisen where motorists are <br />Resolu-~ion <br />'Seconded: <br />'IAyes <br />,Noes <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />X <br />X <br />-5- <br />
