CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DO18 : July 14, 1976 <br />Time : 8:22 P.M. <br />PIGCB; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />UP-76-18, Approved, <br />Res. 1431 <br />Secretary Harris then indicated that <br />he wished to have the record show <br />the Planning Commissioners' concerns <br />regarding future traffic on the Del <br />Valle Parkway and its future plans <br />for use as a parkway; that pending <br />further development of the subject <br />property, those questions be taken <br />into consideration. The Commission- <br />ers all concurred. <br />Frank Auf der Maur - application for <br />a conditional use permit for the <br />construction and operation of an <br />automobile sales and service facilit <br />on the site immediately east of <br />3440 Stanley Boulevard; zoning for <br />the property is C-S (Commercial <br />Service) District. <br />The staff report was reviewed <br />briefly with the Commissioners by <br />Secretary Harris. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Auf der Maur, applicant, was <br />present and requested that Condition <br />No. 2 be modified to coincide with <br />that granted by the Design Review <br />Board for this application. <br />No further comments were forthcoming <br />and the Public Hearing was closed. <br />Again, the Commissioners expressed <br />their concerns on the traffic <br />problems on Stanley Boulevard. They <br />thought it would be wise for the <br />City to work with Alameda County <br />to achieve widening of that street. <br />Commissioner Jamieson asked if the <br />City had information pertaining to <br />the number of accidents at that <br />Resolution <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />X <br />-4- <br />
