~~~SA~~°y f PLE~ISAIVT'®iN <br />COTY <br />~~° Plannin Commission <br />.° 9 U <br />0 <br />0 <br />~~ <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D0T8 : July 14 , 197 6 <br />'Time : 8:22 P.M. <br />PIaCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />Commissioner Butler advised those <br />in the audience that regardless of <br />the action taken on this application <br />if the General Plan is adhered to, <br />the Del Valle Parkway is slated to <br />become a cross town trafficway. <br />Considerable discussion ensued on <br />the design of the parkway. <br />Mary Singleton, 4685 Del Valle Park- <br />way then spoke. Requested approxi- <br />mately 18 months ago that staff <br />explore possibility of the roadway <br />along the creek. She requested <br />further review by the City prior to <br />acceptance of the subdivision map. <br />Bob Abreu, 4653 Del Valle Parkway, <br />requested that further study be <br />made on relocation of the Del Valle <br />Parkway. <br />Mr. Woody Pereira stated that the <br />preliminary plan for this develop- <br />ment was worked out with City staff <br />and there is some acreage set aside <br />for a parkway system along the creek <br />side. He stated Morrison Homes <br />would be working with staff on <br />design of the subdivision map and <br />preparation of the subdivision. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Doherty wished to go <br />on record at noting the citizens' <br />concerns about the Del Valle Park- <br />way final alignment. Commissioner <br />Jamieson concurred with this posi- <br />tion. <br />A resolution was then entered and <br />adopted unanimously accepting the <br />EIR. And another resolution <br />recommending to the City Council <br />adoption of the rezoning request was <br />also entered and unanimously adopted. <br />-3- <br /> <br />
