4~$~s""~°y ®~ <br />COTY PLEASANT®!V <br />,. <br />`'~~ <br />Planning <br />Cor~rnission <br />w so ll'' <br />Y ~ <br />~ Q <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEET ING. ~ <br />~~ ~°~~~` <br />DGtB : July 14 , 197 6 <br />`TifT1@ ; 8:22 P.M. <br />PIQCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />REZONING REQUEST <br />RZ-76-6, Recommend <br />Approval, <br />EIR - Res. 1429 <br />Rezoning - Res. <br />1430 <br />Morrison Homes, Inc. - application <br />to rezone approximately 24 acres <br />located south of Del Valle Parkway <br />and immediately east of Hopyard <br />Road from the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) District to the R-1-6500 <br />(Single Family Residential) District. <br />Secretary Harris described the staff <br />report, explaining that the Planning <br />Commission would need to take two <br />actions on this case - 1) determine <br />the sufficiency of the EIR, the <br />potential impact of the proposed <br />action and the boundaries affected <br />by this impact, and 2) make a sepa- <br />rate recommendation on the rezoning <br />request. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Woody Pereira, representing the <br />applicant, was present and expressed <br />no objections to either the environ- <br />mental impact report and addendum <br />under Volume II or the staff report. <br />Mr. John Fitzgerald, 4869 Del Valle <br />Parkway, asked for clarification on <br />statements made in the environmental <br />impact report. Mr. Fitzgerald then <br />added that some of the homeowners on <br />Del Valle Parkway do not object to <br />this development, rather, they had <br />concerns about the effect the Del <br />Valle Parkway would have in this area <br />once it becomes a thoroughfare.
