He concurred with the
added conditions proposed by staff.
He commented regarding the peripheral
zoning since there already exists tha~
kind of zoning across the street. He
could not go along with concurrent
development of the hospital site and
the peripheral area, because of pos-
sible inability to obtain sewer per-
mits. He also brought up the problem
of traffic congestion at Tassajara
.and Santa Rita Road. He recommended
zoning of the hospital site with the
',peripheral area placed in the Agri-
cultural District until the sewer
'situation is resolved. He reiterated
that there is RM zoning across the
street which has sewer priority.
Commissioner Jamieson raised question.
as to how the ancillary zoning could
be developed concurrently with the
hospital without sewer. Mr. Braden
replied that this is not clear at this
time without final knowledge of the
LAVWMA vote in November.
Mr. Hallgrimson felt that in the year
to come the Valley would solve its
sewer problems and their objective is
a long term one, with the concept of
a P.U.D. to plan for an overall,
orderly development.
Commissioner Shepherd wished to con-
dition this application to specifi-
cally indicate that no sewer capacity
was now available.
The Public Hearing was closed.
-4-
