Dis- <br />cussion ensued regarding safety <br />factors if flammable liquids are <br />stored in the accessory structure. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. No <br />one in the audience addressed the <br />Commission, and the Public Hearing <br />was closed. <br />The Chairman observed that this <br />ordinance amendment would probably <br />eliminate the requirement for a lot <br />of variances. <br />'A resolution recommending to the <br />',City Council the adoption of this <br />'amendment to reduce the distance <br />'between structures in an R District <br />be adopted. <br />Planning Commission - application for <br />an amendment to Sec. 2-9.17 (e) of <br />Article 16, Chapter 2, Title II of <br />the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton which would widen the <br />permissible maximum width of drive- <br />ways in residential districts and <br />would allow corner lots to have more <br />than one driveway subject to City <br />approval. <br />It was explained, in answer to Com- <br />missioner Jamieson's question, that <br />the purpose of requiring the driveway <br />width increase to 24 feet maximum is <br />to accommodate those few developers <br />-8- <br />:e solution: <br />>econded: <br />eyes <br />toes <br />absent: <br />abstain: <br />X <br />X <br /> <br />
