4~~~$"fir°~ CITY of PLEASANT~~I
~~,
~~ • Planning Commission
.o
0
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DG1e : September 8, 1976
Time: 8x45 P.M.
PIOCe: Pleasanton Council Chambers
to ascertain whether all nuisances
had been abated. This case had ori-
ginally come to the attention of
the City through complaint from a
neighbor because of noise. The main
source of the noise was the bob
white quail which the Baileys have
indicated they would get rid of.
The Public Hearing was opened.
Roger Bailey, his wife and son, were
present at the hearing. He explained
that his son is very interested in
the project, they are new at this and
admittedly have made mistakes. They
have traced the source of odor com-
plaints to bags of grass clippings
which they have left in their yard,
and which they have since disposed
of. He further described how they
are training the pigeons and the
methods they intend to use to keep
the project non-nuisance to the
neighbors.
The son also spoke a few words ex-
plaining the project to the Com-
missioners.
Connie Bureau, 3481 Isle Royal Court,
stated that her main objection was
the noise, and wished to verify that
no noise would be allowed.
Both Chairman Butler and Secretary
Harris stated that the use, if
approved, would be for six months
and that the neighbors, at any time,
had the right to nofity the City of
any violations.
After further review of the condition:
of approval, a resolution was entered
and adopted subject to the necessary
findings and conditions of approval
-5-
......._.._ .. _.... _.,_._...__..T.~..__._..._..
