He agreed with the com- <br />ments of both Messrs. Corley and <br />Madden. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />Secretary Harris wished to clarify <br />that regarding lack of sewer capacity, <br />there is possibility of an additional <br />140 d.u.e.s becoming available each <br />year, and he explained how this woul <br />be distributed. <br />Secretary Harris also described the <br />policies which were established at <br />the time the revised General Plan was <br />adopted at the end of 1975. One of <br />the problem areas was Vineyard Avenue <br />and the staff indicated they would <br />review that area as part of the im- <br />plementation of the General Plan. <br />The Chairman wished to know how the <br />staff's studies are going to impact <br />on the traffic in the area. The <br />rezoning, if carried out, would re- <br />duce the number of units by approxi- <br />mately 300. This would mean lessen- <br />ing of traffic, reduced density and <br />holding capacity of the General Plan. <br />Commissioner Wood wished to clarify <br />the density occurring under the <br />multiple and then under the single <br />family for the parcel. Bob Harris <br />explained that the difference would <br />be a drop from about 15 units to <br />5 units. <br />It was clarified by Secretary Harris <br />that development of the Del Valle <br />Parkway would resolve the bulk of <br />-3^ <br />
