Accordingly, Resolution 1459, making such a finding was entered and <br />adopted unanimously by those present. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Commissioner Shepherd <br />Seconded: Commissioner Doherty <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Wood <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd and Chairman Butler <br />Request to initiate a prezoning for the properties involved in Annexa- <br />tion No. 71. <br />Secretary Harris explained the memorandum attached from Director of <br />Engineering Services. It was requested that this matter be taken care <br />of as soon as possible since if the property is annexed to the City <br />prior to the end of the year, property taxes for fiscal 1977-78 may <br />accrue to the City. Therefore, Secretary Harris requested that a <br />special meeting be set to review this matter, thus clearing the way <br />for it to become annexed to the City. <br />A motion was entered and adopted setting a special meeting by November <br />3, to review this matter. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Motion: Commissioner Jamieson <br />Seconded: Commissioner Shepherd <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Wood <br />Abstain: None <br />Shpeherd, and Chairman Butler <br />REFERRALS FROM CITY OF HAYWARD <br />Request for approved building sites without frontage on an approved <br />public or private street. <br />Secretary Harris explained the material dated October 12, 1976, per- <br />taining to this matter. Basically, this is an application before the <br />Hayward Planning Commission to allow two 40-acre parcels without <br />frontage on a public or private street to be approved as building <br />sites. Since access to these two sites will be via an extension of <br />Santos Ranch Road, the Hayward Planning Department, for various <br />reasons, have concerns regarding this application. They are recom- <br />mending that the matter not be acted on at this time. The Pleasanton <br />staff is asking the Commission to concur with the concerns of the <br />Hayward Planning Department. <br />The Commissioners instructed staff to send a letter to that jurisdic- <br />tion expressing the concerns of the Pleasanton Planning Commission <br />should these lots be approved for building sites. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />Secretary Harris said-that the Growth Management Plan information <br />recently submitted to the Commissioners would need to be carefully <br />reviewed, particularly the Policy Statement. He explained that this <br />matter is to go before the City Council on October 26 and it is im- <br />portant that input be received by October 22. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Jamieson requested information to be placed on cards <br />indicating the findings which should be made for variances, conditional <br />uses, etc., and which actions would take a resolution and which ones <br />motions. <br />-$- <br />
