UP-76-25, Morrison Homes - application for a conditional use permit <br />to allow the use of the lots located at 4182, 4190 and 4198 Rennelwood <br />Way (adjacent to the intersection of Rennelwood and Kolln Street) for <br />a model home complex including a sales office. Zoning for the property <br />is PUD (Planned Unit Development District. <br />Secretary Harris described the staff report. Morrison Homes has changed <br />the design of some of the Garden Court Homes. Since this development <br />is a PUD, it is necessary that the Planning Commission make the findings <br />that it is in substantial conformance with the app?"ozre~? Planned Unit <br />Development. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. Mr. Woody Pereira, representing the <br />applicant, was present to answer questions. <br />Commissioner Jamieson made reference to the question of two-story homes <br />being requested in this development and some discussion ensued on this <br />matter between Mr. Pereira and the Commissioners. <br />The Public Hearing was then closed. <br />Resolution No. 1456 was then entered and adopted unanimously by those <br />present finding that the model home complex is in substantial conform- <br />ance with the Planned Unit Development concept adopted for this devel- <br />opment and subject to the findings and conditions noted in the staff <br />report. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Commissioner Shepherd <br />Seconded: Commissioner Doherty <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Wood <br />Abstain : Llpr_e <br />Shepherd and Chairman Butler <br />UP-76-26, Y.M.C.A. - application of the City of Pleasanton for a con- <br />ditional use permit to allow the continued operation of the Y.M.C.A. <br />activities at 287 Rose Avenue; zoning for the property is R-1-6500 <br />(Single Family Residential) District. <br />Secretary Harris briefly described the staff report. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Dick Babbington, Executive Director of Twin-Valley Y.M.C.A. was <br />present to answer questions. He indicated no problems with the staff <br />report. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />Chairman Butler wished to know whether Peters Street will be improved. <br />Mr. Sooby indicated that this project is budgeted in next year's <br />Capital Improvement Program. He would anticipate the use of the <br />building at 287 Rose Avenue would continue through the end of this <br />fiscal year.
