The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Jack Bras spoke for the applicant. He explained the sewer priority <br />list, as he understood it. He had no problems with the conditions f_or <br />approval. <br />Chairman Butler indicated the public hearing was now open for comments on <br />the negative declaration for this project. No one spoke and the Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br />Resolution No. 1497 was entered and unanimously adopted making the finding <br />that this project could not have significant adverse effects on the environ- <br />ment and that the City Council make the determination that a negative <br />declaration be prepared for the project. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Shepherd <br />Seconded: Doherty <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />The Public Hearing was then opened for the PUD application. Mr. Bras, <br />having spoken earlier, did not make any comments at this time. The Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br />Resolution No. 1498 was entered and adopted recommending to the City <br />Council adoption of the proposal. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Doherty <br />Seconded: Shepherd <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />GP-77-1, City of Pleasanton - application for an amendment to the General <br />Plan which would change the land use designation of an approximately 51-ac. <br />area located immediately south of the Arroyo Mocho and east of Martin <br />Avenue (if extended northward to the Arroyo Mocho) from "Sand and Gravel <br />Harvesting" to "Medium Density Residential" use. <br />Secretary Harris stated that the property is currently in the County <br />adjacent to an area which will ultimately be used for sand and gravel <br />harvesting, but is not part of the reclamation plan prepared by the sand <br />and gravel industry, because of its unuseability for sand and gravel <br />harvesting. He explained that because the land is not good harvesting <br />land, it should have been shown on the General Plan as medium density <br />residential, rather than sand and gravel harvesting land. <br />-3- <br /> <br />
