Resolution No. 1528 was entered and adopted approving the conditional use <br />permit filed under this application subject to the conditions and findings <br />in the staff report. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Shepherd <br />Seconded: Wood <br />Ayes: Jamieson, Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Doherty <br />Abstain: None <br />Chairman Butler wished to encourage Mr. Canessa to clear up his arrangements <br />as rapidly as possible, as there is concern regarding possible hazards and <br />nuisance of the partial structure still remaining on the property, as well <br />as the abandoned pool. <br />RZ-77-5, Planning Commission - application for an amendment to Chapter 2, <br />Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to create new com- <br />mercial use categories and to make such uses permitted uses in various <br />zoning districts. <br />The staff report was explained by Secretary Harris. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Bill Hirst, attorney, 147 Bernal Avenue, spoke. He urged the Commission <br />to recommend approval of this ordinance amendment. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />Resolution No. 1529 was entered and adopted recommending to City Council <br />the adoption of the ordinance amendment as noted in the draft ordinance <br />attached to RZ-77-5. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Shepherd <br />Seconded: Jamieson <br />Ayes: Jamieson, Shepherd, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Doherty <br />Abstain: None <br />Wood, Chairman Butler <br />Review of Tentative Tract Map #3359, Morrison Homes <br />Secretary Harris described the staff report for this application. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the map itself, and the conditions of approval <br />staff recommended be adopted. <br />Present to speak in favor of the application were Morrison Homes' represen- <br />tative, Dudley Frost and Rod Andrade, engineer from MacKay & Somps, who <br />prepared the map. They expressed no objections to the staff recommendations. <br />-5- <br /> <br />
