Pool Ordinance (Chapter 11, Title II). In effect, the exemptions from the <br />requirements of that ordinance could then be granted by the Chief Building <br />official. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. No one spoke, and the Public Hearing was <br />closed. <br />The Commissioners concurred with the staff`s recommendation and adopted <br />Resolution No. 1552 initiating an ordinance amendment pertaining to hot <br />tubs as they would be regulated under the Swimming Pool Ordinance. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Jamieson <br />Seconded: Doherty <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd, Wood and Chairman Butler <br />Then Resolution No. 1553 was entered and adopted recommending to the City <br />Council the adoption of the draft ordinance prepared by the Deputy City <br />Attorney, for RZ-77-9. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Jamieson <br />Seconded: Doherty <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd, Wood and Chairman Butler <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Scenic Corridor Protection Program - proposal to designate Freeways I~680 <br />and I-580 Scenic Highways in concert with the State of California and <br />Alameda County and to implement a local Scenic Corridor Protection Program. <br />Secretary Harris gave a brief description of the August 10 staff report, <br />defining the amendment to the zoning code which would be needed in order <br />to implement the Program as proposed.
