Secretary Harris presented a landscaping rendering adopted by the Design Review Board on August 10, 1977. The site plan in conjunction with the conditional use permit is essentially the same. as approved by the Design Review Board. The staff feels the subject site is appropriate for a church considering the conditions attached by that Board, Recom~ mendation is for approval. The Public Hearing was opened. Mr. Lou Helgeson of the Church Building Committee was present to speak for the application. He accepted the conditions and stood ready to answer any questions. The Public Hearing was closed. Resolution No. 1587 was entered and adopted approving the application subject to the required findings and conditions. GP-77-5, Lee Slaughter Review of a negative declaration for a project which would change the land use designation of property along the west side of S.P.R.R., at the intersection of Santa Rita Road near Sutter Gate Avenue. Secretary Harris described the location and shape of the property in question. The staff has grave concerns about the property going industrial, fearing the remainder of the area going industrial as well. Denial is being recommended. The Public Hearing was opened on the negative declaration. Mr. Jack Corley, attorney with offices on Division Street, was present to speak on the application. He had no comments regarding this phase of the review. The Public Hearing was closed. Resolution No. 1588 was entered and adopted making the finding that the project would not have a significant impact on the environment and that a negative declaration would be filed.
