Staff offered an alternate solution whereby <br />an amendment could be initiated to the Ordinance which would allow service <br />stations including truck and trailer rental and general merchandise sales <br />as conditionally allowed uses in the C-F District, since in staff's opinion <br />the current zoning is appropriate for the property. <br />Commissioner Wood expressed some concerns regarding traffic increase which <br />the use might generate, and Commissioner Doherty remarked that addition <br />of such snack facilities could be a boon to motorists who are in a hurry. <br />The Public Hearing was opened on the negative declaration. <br />Mr. Tom Bardet, representing Mobil Oil Corporation was present..
