reservoirs located south of the Commerce Circle industrial complex and a <br />junction structure to be located just north of the future Stoneridge <br />Drive east of the Alamo Canal. <br />The Commissioners considered the General Plan designations in the area, <br />adopted Resolution 1581 making a finding of conformity with the General <br />Plan. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Shepherd <br />Seconded: Wood <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />RZ-77-11, Planning Commission - application to amend Article 14 (Planned <br />Unit Development) and Article 2 (Definitions} of Chapter 2, Title II of <br />the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to clarify the processing of <br />PUD applications filed on two or more parcels. <br />Secretary Harris described the staff report and the draft resolution <br />attached. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. No one spoke. The Public Hearing was <br />closed. <br />Resolution No. 1582 was entered and adopted recommending to the City <br />Council the adoption of RZ-77-11, per the draft resolution dated 11'3/77. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Wood <br />Seconded: Jamieson <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />RZ-77-15, Mobil Oil Corporation <br />Review of negative declaration to rezone property at 5311 Hopyard Road <br />from the C-F to the C-S District. <br />The staff report was described. Staff offered an alternate solution whereby <br />an amendment could be initiated to the Ordinance which would allow service <br />stations including truck and trailer rental and general merchandise sales <br />as conditionally allowed uses in the C-F District, since in staff's opinion <br />the current zoning is appropriate for the property. <br />Commissioner Wood expressed some concerns regarding traffic increase which <br />the use might generate, and Commissioner Doherty remarked that addition <br />of such snack facilities could be a boon to motorists who are in a hurry. <br />The Public Hearing was opened on the negative declaration. <br />Mr. Tom Bardet, representing Mobil Oil Corporation was present.. He had <br />no objections. The Public Hearing was closed on the negative declaration. <br />-5- <br /> <br />
